Also well worth a visit, the Imperial War Museum contains a plethora of various aeroplanes, tanks and goodness knows what from the war.

The set-up is great for kids as well as adults, and there are some actors in the museum to add life to some of the exhibits.

The museum is located a short walk from the South Bank of the Thames, on Kennington Road, just across the road from Kennington police station. Entry is free.
