Living in London can be a very stressful, lonely experience if it is your first time in the big city. Whilst it may appear that everyone living in London is having the time of their lives, there are things to be considered before moving there. Do you makes friends easily? If so, then you'll probably be fine.. if not, then you may find that things aren't quite as exciting as you hoped. London is a very large city, sprawling miles and miles across, almost like a collection of villages, but not with the same kind of community that you may find in a village. If you already have friends in London then you'll probably be in for a wild ride. You can find pretty much anything in London, from the most bizarre S&M clubs, to the finest restaurants and funky bars, it's all there. Compared to the rest of the UK London often seems fast, impersonal and money driven. London can also be a travel nightmare. Bear in mind that if you know somebody living in north London, and you live in south London, you could be looking at a journey of more than two hours to see your friend. And two hours back!!
